After years of searching and longing for a church where we felt like we belong, my wife, Pat, and I finally felt God leading us to Maple Springs; and both our lives were forever changed.  During our time as members, not only have we experienced God’s amazing love through a wonderful church family, we’ve also been greatly enriched by a tremendous Sunday School class, numerous small-group bible studies and countless fellowship experiences.  Only God could have orchestrated my later becoming a staff member at Maple Springs.

I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina, where I began a very long career in the banking industry.  A series of bank mergers and acquisitions lead me to Winston Salem.  I hold an associates and bachelors degree in business administration and management along with advanced graduate training in financial planning.  Pat and I have a loving family that includes three grandchildren.

I began volunteering in the church Food Pantry several years ago and found a passion for others that had been lying dormant for many years.  And now, as the Food Pantry Coordinator, I have a unique opportunity to serve God, our church, and those less-fortunate, in ways that only He could have planned.  I am also truly blessed to serve alongside a tireless group of volunteer-servants who share a love for Christ and His church and who love serving others.  It is my prayer each day that God will use me and all my fellow workers to be effective ministers to all those we encounter in the Food Pantry and to always serve according to His plan.
