I am the Coordinator of Youth Ministries and Technology here at Maple Springs, and have served on staff since 2002. My journey to ministry has taken many turns, leading me to degrees in vocal performance, church music, and a computer science minor! Throughout my years at WCU and Asbury Theological Seminary, I worked with youth ministry teams, and campus ministry became my home away from home. Thankfully, these very different paths converged to bring me here.
My deep desire is that people (young and old) will encounter God in ways that lead to life-changing, genuine relationships with God – for themselves and for the world around them. In many ways, this extends to our newest worship service, Seeds, which I have the privilege of co-leading. Last year, I fought a battle with leukemia, and experienced firsthand the love of this church family. It is a joy to have returned to sharing in ministry with them.
I can still claim to be a computer and gadget geek. I love to learn, to beat a good video game, and to cheer on the BMW F-1 crew. I grew up in Jacksonville, FL and am living my dream of being in NC. My wife Katie and I are parents to our son, Eli and a finicky dog named Tuck.
