Our first experience as a church on the Navajo Reservation was in the summer of 2007. Since then three additional mission teams have been sent from our church. Maple Springs has partnered with the Four Corners Native American Ministries of the United Methodist Church to offer Vacation Bible School to hundreds of children, repair homes, and provide clean and safe drinking water to a small but active church on the reservation.  Each time we have gone to serve we were blessed in ways that words cannot express. 

Update:

     In August, 2009, we spent 8 days in Sawmill and Window Rock, Arizona. Our mission team was there the first week of school and was able to provide children with backpacks and supplies for the upcoming school year.  We have plans to send another mission team in 2010.  For anyone interested in going to serve the Navajo people please contact Jeremy Pegram.

Next Trip:

      We will return to the Navajo Nation in 2010.  Our mission trip dates are July 3rd - July 10th.
