I joined the staff of Maple Springs in June 2007.  From my first day, I have enjoyed the multifaceted worship and the warm fellowship of the Maple Springs family.  As Associate Pastor of Congregational Care, my responsibilities include providing pastoral care and coordination of our Stephen Ministry.  I also coordinate Adult Ministries and assist with worship.  I love to preach and lead Bible studies.

After growing up in Gaffney, South Carolina, I graduated from Converse College and then obtained a graduate degree in counseling psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi.  I enjoyed my career in psychology, especially my time at Amos Cottage in Winston-Salem, but finally I could no longer resist the call to ordained ministry that had been on my heart for many years.  In 2005, I graduated from the Divinity School of Duke University with a Master’s of Divinity.  I served as a pastor in Greensboro before coming to Maple Springs.  My husband and I have three daughters, ages 15, 11, and 9.  We’re a family that loves music, reading, movies, and just spending time together.  We are delighted to be raising our family in a loving church that is dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus Christ.  Please feel free to contact me with needs for visitation or pastoral care, or to learn more about our church.
